Preformace art

I thought the classes on performance was both interesting and really weird, especially when we were learning about Leigh Bowery. I thought a lot of his costumes and performances were bizarre. I don't know what i would think if i saw him walking down the street. But I also liked that he thought of himself as a walking art form.



I also liked that he allowed Lucian Freud to paint him without all the make up and crazy outfits. It was cool to see a different side of him.



I really liked everyone's art performance!!!

Pop Art!

I really liked learning about pop art and andy warhol. I alway liked that he used advertisements in his artwork. I liked that he embraced advertisements and didn't dismiss them like most artists do.

I also liked that he made everyone who worked in his factory do a 15 minute film where theyr just stair at the camera. I thought that this was weird but also a good way for us now to see all the different kind of people he was working with.
